Why is Romeo and Juliet thought of as a love story?

I see Romeo and Juliet as a dramatic satire disguised as a love story. My reasoning is that the "love" between Romeo and Juliet is based off of infatuation, and their actions on irrationality. So its more of a social satire meant to mock human irrationality, and a plot device to bring the two feuding families together.
