You do not have to look at a population for a million years to see evolution. There are these foxes that people use for their fur. They are really mean and hard to keep. Breeders wanted them to be nicer so they only let the calmest and friendliest breed. A few generations later the foxes act more like puppies. Their coat has gotten a lighter color and they now bark and they didnt before. I saw this on a doentary about how wolves may have evolved into dogs.
