I finally told him how i feel?

so i like this kid jake... im in the 8th grade. when jake likes a girl he likes her for a while(im not joking it takes him a whiiiileee to get over somebody), his past girlfriend broke up with him about a month ago and he still realllyyy likes her. ive like him for about 2 weeks now and surprisingly i was texting him one day and he said he "kind of a little likes me' and so the day after that i was texting him and we both were talking about how we were both sad, i asked him why and he said because he misses dating veronica (his ex) and i told him he should just try to move on...so then he asked me why i was sad and this is what i said " jake, im head over heels for you whether you realize it or not, and every time you say you miss veronica, i just want to cry" and then he never texted me back.. i sent it again about 20 minutes later...still no reply.. i really like him and i dont know what to do? im not like any other typical 8th grade girl, just like jake, i like somebody for a while, not just 2 weeks, but 2 years for me... i dont know what to do? please give me some advice ive been depressed latley because of this and family issues, i dont know what to do... please some advice?
