Which is more justifiable? The price of Space Exploration or the price of the Middle East Wars?

The space exploration is way more important even though when we populate Mars or whatever it will cause a lot of land war, but the war in Iraq is for no reason at all except for oil, so space is more important because it will give us more land to live on.
